Touché par la montée en puissance du rejet des nouveaux arrivants, en Europe, aussi bien qu'aux Etats Unis, Fox Nigon a écrit la chanson “Dark World” non pas dans le but de choquer, mais de parler de paix et d'espoir, d'unité entre les peuples, en faisant appel à notre mémoire.
Fortement marqué par Bob Dylan et “Blowin in the wind”, symbole du mouvement des droits civiques, Fox est convaincu que ce sont les mots qui donnent leur vraie force à ses chansons, et les met au service de ses valeurs.
La guitare accompagne discrètement le chant, quand le piano et les chœurs viennent lui donner du relief, soutenus par les fills de batterie reconnaissables de son groupe de Liverpool.
